Quick Start

CDEveryWhere has been created so that you can produce cross platform CDs without worrying about the details. Simply install CDEveryWhere and you are ready to go.

The process requires that you have enough hard disk space to hold the CD image file. This file will contain the data recorded on the CD. The process also requires that you have software that can record an ISO image. More Info...

  1. Run CDEveryWhere. (Note: be patient - CDEveryWhere has a lot of setting up to do. - Note also that the "All Platforms" tab is preselected for you.)
  2. The upper half of the layout window represents your source. Use the upper left window to locate your directories and/or files in the upper right window. Show me...
  3. Drag the desired directories/files to either the lower left window or the lower right window - (For all the files you want). Note: This is called a "layout" - your files have not yet been copied to the image file. More Info...
  4. You don't have to, but its a good idea, - click the Platform button at the top of the screen and enter a volume name for the CD. Show me...
  5. Create the image file. (Click on image in the menu and select Create). More Info...
  6. Place a blank CDR or CDRW disc in the CD recorder and record. More Info...
